Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale in a costume test for The Dark Knight Rises
this part was everything
Can you imagine walking to your car in the parking garage after a long day of work and then seeing freaking Batman being all BAMFtastic?!
Star Trek into Darkness spoilers: Kirk dies and leaves John Harrison in his will for some reason, he goes to Kirk’s estate and they say they have nothing for him. “Try my legal name,” he says. “You should use your real name more often,” the receptionist says, “I like that. Khan.”
Michael Caine on The Dark Knight Rises’ ending.
I've seen TDKR 4 times now and I think with each viewing I'm able to throw away more fanboy nitpickings and appreciate it for the movie it is. Nolan & Co. really brought something special together. It's a beautifully composed movie, a real grand spectacle with a lot of heart that stands on its own as a unique Batman tale but still concludes the trilogy in a way I find more and more satisfying with each time I watch it. It really nails what I love about Batman and even though it's a “comic book movie” it is incredibly inspiring and its frankness and pseudo-plausibility appeals to the adult in me, the hope and awe of believing in heroes appeals to the kid in me. It's really something to savor. I doubt we'll see anything quite like Nolan's Batman films ever again. One more BRAVO, Nolan.
I got The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-ray today!!! YAY!!! And I got the wicked Best Buy exclusive cover.
Was bored, alone in my room with my palms cupped over my mouth practicing my Bane impression. I was doing lines from TDKR then I ran out cause I couldn’t remember any more so just started reciting memorable lines from other movies. I had to stop myself once I said “Nobody puts baby in the corner” in Bane’s voice.
Notable Events in Bat History. It’s recognizable size.
LMFAO, notice “Joel Schumacher error” instead of “era”
Oh hey it’s that old guy who is a member on the board of Wayne Enterprises.
He has only like two lines but in Batman Begins you get an idea that he’s a generally good guy and shared the ideals of Thomas Wayne and he was one of few who was against Roy Batty’s evil plan to take the company public.
Oh and he doesn’t seem to like Bruce all that much cause at the party at the end when Bruce is pretending to be drunk and telling everyone to leave, he’s all like “bitch, the apple has fallen far from the tree.”
Anywho he is absent from The Dark Knight but much to the delight and resounding excitement of fans everywhere, he is back in The Dark Knight Rises. He bravely volunteers himself to be taken down with Miranda and Lucius to activate the doomsday machine.
I lost track of the character towards the end but I’m pretty sure he lives.
Fun fact: George Fredericks is played by Christopher Nolan’s uncle, John Nolan.
